Tho he hardly needs additional kudos, I can echo the fact Gar is a true hobby pioneer , very reliable and fair. He went on numerous early buying trips, buying out of hotels, well before most of us were even dealers. He still has a ton of stuff. I first bought from him about 32 years ago (Goudey Ruth 35 bucks, Clemente rookie $5, etc.) Many of you oldtimers may remember his original pricelist/guide , printed in the mid 70's...just about the only source of pricing at the time.
