Default A little checklist help ??...

Posted By: Steve Dawson

Here's what I came up with in T202:

Chance Beats Out a Hit
Chance - Foxen
McIntire - Archer
Overall - Archer
Rowan - Archer
Shean - Chance

Evers Makes a Safe Slide
Archer - Evers
Evers - Chance
Reulbach - Archer
Overall - Archer
Tinker - Chance

Harry Lord at Third
Lennox - Tinker

McConnell Caught
Richie - Needham

Stone About to Swing
Scheckard - Schulte

The Athletic Infield
Brown - Graham

There are at least four other cards with Chicago Rustlers players on the end panels.

Edited to add the following:

All the end-panel players on the above cards are Cubs. As best as I can tell, all the center panels except "The Athletic Infield" are also Cubs. According to my reference, "Classic Baseball Cards" (the large coffee-table book), there are no cards where only one of the end-panel players is a Cub. Regarding the "Harry Lord at Third" card, Lennox is shown wearing a Brooklyn cap, but the team named at the bottom is the "Cubs".

Edited again to correct the above comment about the "Chicago" Rustlers. I just discovered that they were the "Boston" Rustlers. I got confused by the fact that Steinfeldt and Kling are shown in Cubs uniforms on their cards, while the team name at the bottom is Rustlers.

Steve
