I have been looking for a early copy of Babe Ruth as a Yank. What do you think is Ruth's best card? I personally like the 1922 E120 American Caramel, I would like to hear some opinions. |

That is a good question. It seems there are not many attactive Ruth cards in Yankee uniform until the Goudeys. |

I am curious where you came up with the number "12" known for the V117 Ruths? Is that how many you have seen? I've had 2-3, and have seen at least 5-10 more without really trying... I do think it's a great mug shot of him.....kind regards |

Your clarification makes more sense to me. I know you track them quite a bit and was surprised if you were suggesting there are only 12 known, period. regards |

Here's my two pre 1926 favorites. Also, I like his 1921 Exhibits. Does anybody have a picture of a Ruth 1922 William Patterson? I've been thinking about that one lately, but haven't seen one in awhile. That one is hard to find. |

How much do those Maple Crispette or Schapira Bro. Ruth's go for in low to mid-grade? A rough range would be great |

I also like the look of the 1922 Neilson's Chocolate. Would like to see some more scans...and more opinions. I need to pick up a Ruth as close as possible to his earliest days with the Yanks, for my collecton. |

My best guess for a Maple Crispette low to mid grade would be 1k to 3.5k (SGC30 to SGC60) |

I think your pricing the Maple Ruth to conservatively. I'd price the card SGC30 at 3.5K+! |

e220 is one of the coolest Ruth poses in a Yankee uniform that I can think of. This one is from the last mastro auction - wish I had won it. |

I really like the 1921 exhibits, nice pose in the outfield with hands on knees. I have a beeter and it's one of my personal favorites. |
