I was tested last weekend! Enroute to winning the 45-49 year 242 pound class AAPF Masters National Powerlifting meet.

Now if they had tested me 20 years ago, all kinds of bells and whistles would have went off.

Most of the Major league players of all sports are not using the old time steroids most would be familiar with. Most of them are using designer pro-hormones that in the strictest since are not anabolic steroids, but nearly identical with the chemical make up slightly altered. These are not what trade hands in the local gyms. I would also venture to say a great deal of them would test positive and not have ever taken anything illegal, you would be surprised at how many over the counter products at GNC, etc. will render a positive read, most due to elevated testosterone levels, these products contain traces of prohormones and other test derivatives.

Also a good deal of the players seeking size and power, would opt for HGH/ growth hormone, undetectable in most tests as it occurs naturally in the body.
