getting baseball cards autographed took off in the 1970's. before that it was common to get signatures on index cards and autograph books,scorecards and yearbooks. by the 70's there just weren't a lot of players who appeared on t cards alive. finding any pre war(ww1) cards with auto's is not easy. |
