Maybe you were happy to get the money for it..or maybe circumstances mandated it happening....mine isn't really all that expensive...many here would blow me away with the nicest card they've sold... |

They're gone, so I don't have pictures. I sold two 206 commons (very common) each graded an 8, for about $2,500 each, and a 51 bowman mantle grade 5, for $4,500.00. Took my wife to hawaii and paid my taxes. I had paid $150.00 each for the two 206's back in about 93 or 94. Not sure which. The reason I sold them, is that they don't fit my collecting interests anymore. Plus I figured why not sell the 206's while they were hot. And they have cooled a bit since. And for those who believe all 8's are trim jobs, I got these back in the early 90's as I say, and no, they were not trimmed. They were beautiful, real, and they were "spectacular". The guy in Chicago that I bought them from, had a bunch more, I wish I had bought the rest of them. But you can never look back. |

As the liquidation continues for the house fund, this is the current leader. I'm hoping to get lucky with REA and have this one drop from the top spot. (Edited to add Shoeless Joe.) |

Sold it for $4,000. The condition of the pack was a little rough (corner wear) but it was still sealed. |
