The first autographs I ever got were at Sportsmans Park in St. Louis in 1965, I was 10 years old. Lew and 2 other Phillies signed my scorecard. At that point in life I was unaware of Mr. Burdette's accomplishments. I do recall the stubble of beard that he had, and his tired eyes. |
