T206 Poll, Love em or hate em

Even though I don't collect baseball, I love the T206 set. It has everything going for it: simple classic design, incredible lithography, amazing player selection, affordable and available, but with tough variations and short prints that can make it a life's work. Is there any other set with so many different ways to collect? Back variations, portraits, HOFers, Southern Leagers, you name it. Is there any other set that is such an ambassador for the hobby? Where else can you find a $20 common and a $2 million HOF ultra-rarity in the same set? And where else will the owners of the $20 common and the $2 million HOF ultra-rarity both be so happy and proud of their card?
