Perhaps if you subscribe to vintagecardprices, you could enter in the cards and print out the site's estimate of the current value of your collection to give to your insurance company - although you can likely get the same price data off of ebay, it might seem to your insurance company like a third-party appraisal rather than your estimate of value.
