Default For the true Cono-Sewer: What do you look for in a Beater?

Posted By: Brett

I like beaters. They have character and they were well loved year and years ago. When i see a mint condition t206 on ebay for example, it just looks like a reprint and i don't has a desire to own it.

I usually will buy a E card that i need in any condition if the price is right. I try to get them where the name is still in tact on the bottom and the image of the player is in tact, but if the price is so low i'd be willing to overlook it

Here are some of the many beater i own.....

After 2 months i'll finally be getting this from the Post Office.. LONG STORY. E98 Mathewson is my favourite E card, so i might have payed too much for it, but i love it and will never sell it. ( if anyone has another E98 Mathewson beater for sale please let me know ! )

I probably spent too much for this on ebay, but someone had to let Eddie have a home lol.

Another ripped Mathewson.

I love these t206s. Looks like a rat got the best of them. Oh well, got the lot of 12 months ago for about $2 each on ebay.

I'll get more scans tomorrow sometime.
