i only see one recognizable bidder from the list and I've warned him. Kinda sad not to even look (or know?) at what you're bidding. |

Buy the holder, not the card? It indeed appears to be turning into a very expensive holder... |

I've started a spreadsheet that I've called "misflips". I'll try and include as much data as possible. I didn't think about adding the final sale price (if applicable) but that's going to change. If there's no scan or photo then obviously it wont be logged. I can recall a few other big blunders like the Wagner (Heine not Hans) but I can't recall much of it. If someone has that scan I think that would be one of the "flagship misflips". |

This should be treated as a rare error! As cards can be printed in error, slabs can be done in error. Hi Joe Orlando, I love you too. I am collecting error slabs from the 3 big companies. 99% of my collection is PSA which makes it worth more!! |

Don't forget the M116 "Buster Brown" PSA 3 which actually is Mordecai Brown. I remember years ago someone on the old board had some T207s which were slabbed as T206s by PSA, haven't seen those images in a while but I remember one was Easterly, can't remember the others. |

What's amazing is that despite 3 bidders withdrawing their bids from $750-950, someone still placed a bid and won it for $650! The buyer's id is one I have seen bidding many times on pre-war cards so he is not a total newbie or someone like Sean. |

Goes to show those snipe services can have their shortcomings. The seller had to cancel the bids placed earlier, at the same time, the seller was unable to end his auction with less than 12 hours. Mutual cancellation of the sale means no harm to anyone, Ebay won't take a fee. |

This brought up a thought...I don't send in a whole lot of stuff for grading...so if you mislabel the card description on the submission form do they actually notify you or do they automatically make the correction? Or do they simply label them as you submit them hence these glaring errors? |
