Thanks for the nice comment. Out of my 100 Colgans only 20 are horizontal text. I have done a little research on colgan backs as well and found that 1% of the colgans I tested had brown ink backs. |

Picked up one of the very rare Prest-O-lite Battery Postcards (Ted Williams) and the same seller had an uncateloged Tommy Henrich card from same series that would point the year of issue a couple year older (ca.1949 instead of the ca.1951 in the SCD). |

Not a baseball card, but it is vintage (at least by my definition). A 1940 government postcard autographed by Lefty Grove and sent from his hometown (and mine) of Lonaconing, MD. I think it's the first vintage item I've bought in about six months... |
