If they used polycarbonate it would naturally block UV. (That's what they make a lot of sunglass and Rx eyeglasses out of - and then advertise UV protection when it is actually a natural property of the material.) But I'm not sure you can sonic weld PC, and I'm pretty sure they are sonically welding slabs to seal them. So if it were UV blocking it might not assemble. |
