About ten miles from front door to convention. How can I not attend. Will probably take longer to find a parking space than to actually get there. Will someone be doing NET54 name tags for us newbies?

I'm within walking distance of the Convention Center and will be there four of the five days. (The 27th of July is mine and the misses anniversary. We've made other plans for the day.)

Going to be there setting up for my first National Booth #1349 can't wait to put a face with all the NET54 members so come by and say hello. Going to have 3 computers set up for people to see the site and help them out. The last national I went to must of been 22 years ago in San Francisco. And I remember going to the first National in Anaheim when it was in one small room with about 75 tables.

Given that this is my first National, I'm planning on going Weds. night for the "sneak peek" so that I can get my T215 Pirate back. Is everyone set up the first night, or should I come back in order to get to see everything?

I will be there with Scott Brockelman and we'll have a table. We've done it several years and it seems to work well. (He's done it quite a bit longer.) Generally, we pull about 6-10 (or as many) chairs as we can find, behind our table, and let all Net54'ers and friends hang out. Kind of a place to talk about the days findings and events. The 3rd Annual Network54 Dinner will be on Friday night right across the street, at the closest (I believe) hotel, the Hilton. I don't know if Paris will be there or not.... It starts at about 6 and will go until we leave. I will have more details on that in the next week but it's all set. I will also start a thread in the next week to get rsvp's for it. Any board member and their friends and family are invited. Last year we had about 52 and I am expecting more this year...Kids can come along but there will be quite a bit of alcohol being consumed so take that for what it's worth. Otherwise, I will be at the show Wed. thru Sun.....regards

ps...is 420 a highhhhh wayyyyy?

ive never been to a National and this will be my 1st. i have some questions because i didnt do any research. Is there a website i can read up on the details , times, dates,parking, addmission, etc.

Also i want to bring some cards to get graded can anyone give me some pointers on what cards to leave at home in terms of cards that wont get graded trimmed, ink etc. hope to meet some fellow 54ers and i can t wait to see if i can get a Weaver!
