You can work backwards or forwards. Either start with the 57 Bums and work back through the early Topps sets and then the Goudeys etc. or start with the T205, T206 and T207 sets. Be sure and get the Fatima Brooklyn team card and pick off some T204s while you are at it. Personally I like the caramel cards featuring Brooklyn players but it will cost yo more than tobaccos, generally. Finally, the Brooklyn players in the M116 Sporting Life set can still be had fairly cheap in nice shape, with a few exceptions.
