I never say for sure until I see the invoice (one of many superstitions), but I was the high bidder on the big boxing lot. Yay. 16 Pet Ciggies (T224) cards; I can't wait to hold them in my greedy little hands. Well, not so little. But greedy.

Got taken out of two other lots I was bidding on. That exhibit lot of 12 cards (9 Hartnett 2 Hornsby and 1 Sisler) closed for over $1,000 including the juice. Wow. I just couldn't bring myself to own 10 (I already have one) Hartnett cards for the money involved, but someone got a nice grouping. If it was one of you folks, please drop me an email; I'd like some info on the variations when you receive them.

The system worked beautifully. With full internet capability and 10% on each end as the commissions, I have a feeling that Lew is going to get a lot of really high end stuff to sell in the future from a lot of advanced collectors.
