I've seen these before, and although I'm far from an expert on these cards, I would venture to call that one fake. I maybe way off ... but a lot of things don't look right to me about that card. |

It is not a T206. I believe it is a T213 card I would have to look it up to be sure which set it comes from.Rob |

The few oversized 'name on top' T206s I've seen have had the same name top and bottom. |

it is much more common to see the same name top and bottom on T206's as well as T213, i would say the different name combo is probably only seen on 1 in 10 or perhaps even greater. |

I have owned and I have seen T206s that have had different names on the top and bottom of the card. These are nothing more than miscut cards. I also have had T206s that have had the same name on the top and bottom the the card. Again miscut cards. What this does tell me is that T206s were printed in more than one alignment. Some sheets have vertical columns of the same card, whereas others had horizontal rows. |

I posted an image of a T206 about a year back with 2 different names on the board. Unfortunately it is long gone and I don't have the scan any longer. I seem to remember the thread mentioned that yes they did exist but were quite rare. It is much more common to have cards with the same name top and bottom. |

I remember someone (Don) posting a card with different names a long time ago, but couldn't remember for sure if it was a t206, so wanted to ask again. |

I bought this card earlier this month, but haven't received it yet. I'm sure it says Young both top and bottom. |

I also have a t213 with a different name up top from the player. Mine is Chief Wilson on the card and Germany Schaefer's name up top.Being as i only wanted one as a type card and i like "errors" like that, this card was perfect because Wilson is shown in his Pirates uniform.I always try to get a Pirates player when getting a type card |
