Scott- I think there's a chance some of the hotter sets will cool and level off, but waiting for a downturn in vintage cards may not be that realistic. Maybe a tiny drop here and there, but the demand seems insatiable. I think the only hope is that so many collectors decide to sell due to the current high levels that the market becomes saturated. But for every person who drops out of the hobby, two richer ones come in. It's a daunting situation for collectors who work within a budget. |
