He was considered perhaps the greatest player in the history of the Negro Leagues (he was called the black Babe Ruth) and his cards are virtually nonexistent. In fact, pretty much the only way to get cards of Negro Leaguers issued during their playing days is from the Cuban issues such as Aguilitas and Billiken, among others. Not an easy task, and expensive at that.
