Hey Joe, I've been fulled by misleading information written on photos myself. This photo of mine has the name "Sockalexis" written on the back. For awhile, I thought I had a young picture of Louis Sockalexis. With the help of a few board members, I was able to determine this is probably not Louis Sockalexis. The biggest give away here is that this guys ears don't seem to match Louis' ears, but this guy seems to resemble Louis a great deal. The guy in my picture could very well be related to Louis Sockalexis, but I'll probably never know for sure. Whether or not your picture is a picture of Ty Cobb, I think it's still a great photo and a great conversation piece! |
