Default RE; Sgc re-slab into new holder from old??

Posted By: FYS

It is a risk reward question you must answer yourself:

1. Submit in the slab and you will get your money back if any are found to be trimmed or a lower grade. Seriously doubt you will get any grade boosts.
2. Break out and submit. You then lose any chance for a refund if they are graded lower or are trimmed etc, but you have the potential of a grade increase. Sounds like you feel you actually may have a chance for an increase. Unless you have a great deal of experience with graded SGC slabs, I would not count on this.

My personal opinion would be to reslab (option #1).
