There's always a lot of talk on this board about the toughest issues so I thought I'd ask about the easiest issues. If I were to start collecting a set today what would be the easiest sets to complete including an N,T, and E set. |

I would have to say that the E95 set is a pretty easy set to finish. It is loaded with HOFers, but all cards are relatively easy to find. |

t201 would be the easiest of the t-sets to complete. The "tough" card in the set, Daugherty/Lord, isn't that tough. Finding a complete set of n28baseball isn't too hard. Getting the somplete 50 card set is a bit tougher. |

Gotta disagree on the 1939 Play Ball set. A handful of the high numbers are a real beast. Several other high numbers are only difficult to find. |

E95 and E96, but it's going to cost you, particularly the E96. Forget about E94, E97, E99, E100, E103 and E107. |

Once I get the last card for my set (Cicotte) from a board member my e95 will be complete after 1 year or so of trying to finish it. All the cards are scanned on my website: |

I would think the t201s would be one of the easiest to complete. Only one expensive card-Cobb and Crawford. |

I think the easiest sets are: T201, e95 and e96. Going for a T206 is always fun if you pick away and have twenty more years to live and realize that by the time you are serious about purchasing one of the biggies, the prices may be a long the way the Faberge egg trail. |

whoever said 39 playball needs their head examined. T201 also has a tough common. 1 of each card, 1941 goudey, any color, very simple. Also 1936 goudey and the 1930s S&S are very simple. 39 Playball is a bear with high numbers. Of course, if you are a doctor or a lawyer and can throw money around like it doesn't matter, any set is virtually easy. But for us true collectors, stick to the S&S set! |

I would have to go with the National Game set. The National Games are a bit easier than the Barkers, and once you find one you usually find the whole thing. I don't think they are really that plentiful, but there is no effort into trying to find any particular commons, etc. |

I found the 1933 Sport Kings fairly easy in that all the cards come up on ebay from time to time (ie, no real scarcities). Took me about 4 months to complete. |

Guess I was wrong about 39 Playballs. I was guessing off the top of my head as I've never tried to collect them and never head anyone mention the set as having any difficult cards. I have a number of hi# 39PBs, care to share which ones are tough? |
