set collectors?

i have yet to find a set that i would bother collecting in its entirety. the main reason being because i refuse to buy cards i don't find visually attractive. for example, i love T206's and '33 Goudeys. i regularly buy cards with cool action shots from these sets, but i usually stay away from portrait and posed type cards. for some reason, they rarely grab my attention. not sure why, probably because most of em are staged, with bland background colors. i usually stick to type sets, where i have 100% freedom to collect only what i want.
