The 21s are very distinctive when compared to the 22s. The name writing on the fronts is ornate. The 22s have a very thin line of cursive writing for the name. The 23s are distinguished by two factors. For AL players, the use of AL instead of AmL is the easiest way to tell. Otherwise, you have to know who is in each set. One complicating factor is that a few guys are in both (Ruth and Veach are the ones that stand out in my mind; Veach has a different cropping to the photo and both are AL players, so which is the 23-24 is easy to determine). |
