Yes and it is a pain in the ass! The top is completely cupped over the back. Work from the back, dig down into a corner and pry it up, once you get 1 corner up, they usually open up. I also put a top corner to a grinder than open it up. |

affix it to the edge of the holder, and break it off. Do this all the way around. You might wear sun-glasses or something, but I never do. |

Great idea Julie! I will try that when my 33 Lajoie from Sotheby's arrives. It will be in that GAI holder about 3 mins after I unpack it! |

Wax pack holders for GAI are a soft pastic and you can cut them out with a razor blade. I have opened a few of them this way with no problem. |
