I wouldn't have thought of doing that, but it was really smart. If it had been a valuable card, the t206museum would have ignored your request for information and instead asked how much you wanted for it. The fact that they said it wasn't a 1909 error pretty much guarantees they really thought it was more modern. But I don't have a good feel for their level of expertise - most of what they have on their web-site is stuff they filched from others. |
