The Cobb bat I know is authentic. I have the article in which my grandfather won 3rd place in the Dayton Journal Trivia contest in 1927. His prize was this bat. My grandfather actually used the bat a couple of time in the 40's. The bat has ball marks from this use and part of the decal has pealed off over time. The bat has no cracks, and is full size. It is a TC-40. I will try and get a scan tomorrow. |
