Jon CanfieldDavid - while I have no opinion as to the authenticity of the ball in question above, below are a few pictures of my '35 spring training ball (note Ruth is still present [before being traded] which is why I love this ball so much). The Gehrig on my ball is not completely on a straight line as the "Lou" sits slightly above the "Gehrig" albeit the alignment on my ball is much closer than the one on the questioned ball above.
