A trivia-question post on the dark side of the board prompted me to dig out a ticket stub from Bob Feller's opening-day no-hitter. Because tickets and ticket stubs are among my favorite areas of collecting memorabilia, I'd love to see other stubs or full tickets from memorable sporting events. I'll scan and post a few more of my Indians ones later tonight. In the meantime, here's Rapid Robert's no-no: |

Wow! Imagine seeing that historic bare-knuckled bout for $15! Then again, taking inflation into consideration, one wonders what $15 1892 dollars would translate into in today's economy. Either way, certainly not the kind of money that ringside seats fetch nowadays. |
