Your favorite team

Well...my favorite team that is not defunct is also your favorite team, but oddly enough I don't really go out of my way to collect Red Sox items. I would have to say my favorite Red Sox item is a 1945 Program from June 23, 1945 which is the day my dad was born. He lived as a child in Boston before my grandma got homesick for Nebraska and I assume forced my grandpa to move here. I still have lots of family out there, but I have never met them, and now that my dad and grandpa are gone I doubt that I ever will meet them. If you've been a lifelong Bostonian my last name may be familiar as my uncle was a politician there...Mayor of Somerville, state senator and head of the General Services Administration during the Carter presidency.
