how much I miss all the great shows that used to be within half an hour of where I live (Berkeley, California); the Vintage Baseball Card Forum almost, if not completely, makes up for it. Ebay (only 80 feedback, after three years) is usually slightly disappointing. Add up a lot of "slightly disappointings" and you get--a big diappointment. Paypal was very novel, until I started feeling like i was being nibbled to death by mice. The tips and outright sales I've gotten from this board, however, really lessen the pain a LOT! Not to mention the information, outside contacts and friends. And TRADES! I never traded before... |
