1948 Bowman... not exactly vintage but does this look good?

It looks A-OK. The correct factory edges, border size and relative color to the portrait, print patterns, and the back, although tilted in the printing, is fine. If you need it, bid on it. Unless the image has somehow been drastically altered, I'm sure that the card will pass muster with any and all of the major grading companies.
