Any opinions? I thought it had that over glossy re-print look. |

Others on this board may know better than me, but I can't recall any reprints with EPDG backs. |

The card looks a bit thin. Additionally, the seller doesn't seem to have a lot of experience in vintage cards and doesn't have the best feedback (but far from horrible). The card looks authentic, but a bit "off" somehow. |

The right side and the bottom of this card are clearly trimmed. My guess is that the owner bought it,sent it in and it came back as such and now wants a guy thinking as he did amonth ago to buy it.Why else would someone not send in a PSA 9 himself??? |

I would say the card is authentic. There are three problems, however. The first is that the thinner, gothic-type font on the reverse side appears to be too bold for the El Principe De Gales reverse; but that is easily explained by extra ink on the printing plate or perhaps a slight photoshop adjustment. The second is that the reverse appears to be abnormally toned compared to the relatively fresh, white obverse of the card. Again, the storage method or contrast adjustment might explain this characteristic. The third problem is that the card is too narrow left-to-right. I would surmise this to be the result of trimming or a possible factory miscut. In either case, the card does not appear to be "legal tender" as far as a legitimate grading company is concerned. |
