If I am not mistaking a lot of 19th century cards were hand cut. I think SGC will take that into consideration, as they did the one I just posted on the "type collecting" thread, and go ahead and grade them. I have seen Kalamazoo's the same way...as long as they have the old "crater" look, on the wavy edge, then they will slab them a lot of times....AND before everyone jumps on the bandwagon that I don't have a clue what I am talking about I do have a little experience in this area...
