Bob Lemke asked awhile back about 1930s cards showing a closeup of a catcher in gear. The Diamond Star Foxx is nice, but an even more closeup shot of him is the R311 Leather. This card basically shows Foxx's head with a mask on and nothing else. It's the ultimate catcher close up. Also, I believe the Wide Pen premium of Lombardi shows him in full gear. |
