Some of the t207's are really cool, though I can see why many collectors don't like the set as a whole. I especially like the McGraw and some of the catcher cards. The thing that detracts most from the set in my view, is not the moodiness caused by the brown background and lack of color variety, but rather how ugly they look when registration is not dead-perfect. Cards such as Johnson and Reulbach looks particularly ghastly when not registered perfectly, since the likenesses aren't close to reality to begin with. |
