After years of mislabeling cards in holders, pitching variations described as portraits, wrong cards listed where jerseys plainly show the team variation, cards listed as having one color background when they are clearly another color not even remotely close on the color wheel, caramel cards listed as T206s, on and on and on, you would think PSA would wise up and yet they CONTINUE to mislabel cards. Can't these graders put down their twinkies and Inspector Gadget comic books for just a minute and make a half-hearted effort to describe the right card on the labels? |

... when you send to PSA, you always have the slight chance of getting a mislabeled card, and the rarer/more valuable the card you send, the better your chances! |

Nobody could have made that many errors accidentally. |

I lived in Portland, Oregon in 1981, and I remember reading an article in the local newspaper about how many errors were in 1981 Donruss. |

a guy's Old Judges graded by PSA at the National. In comparison, his prices for PSA5's were about 1/2 of what everyone else wanted (around $250 or so for the ones' he had), so I picked out a few....maybe 5-6. I started looking closer at them and found two that were mislabelled or misplaced............the name on one matched the card on another and vice-versa. They had just put the wrong label with the wrong card. SUCH a simple mistake. After pointing it out to the seller, he commented that that was pretty commonplace for PSA. He had a HUGE amount of PSA graded cards in his case. |
