I don't have a problem with the list either. Wagner was frequently given the nod over Cobb as greatest player of all time. If you listen to the "Glory of Their Times" tapes, the players who played with both of them seem split on the issue, but possibly because they disliked Cobb so much as a person - I don't think any of them picked Ruth, mainly because Cobb and Wagner were so much better runners and fielders.
