Default My wife's the best - Christmas Tree

My amazing wife understands my fascination with baseball stuff/memorabilia and even let's me display some of it in the house! Today she surprised me with my own baseball themed Christmas tree in the entry way. Even put some of my tiny salesman sample? gloves on it and they make perfect ornaments! A daughter who is to young to know The Sandlot movie told me last year she thought this kid was me when I was younger lol

Merry Christmas and make this thread about our amazing spouses who understand (or tolerate) our hobby

My wife is cool with my collecting, although she will occasionally say, “You paid HOW MUCH for THAT?” It helps that I have turned her into a diehard Giants fan. When she’s not questioning “value,” she might see a new treasure and say, “That’s cool.”

And a Merry Christmas back to you and yours. My wife doesn't understand me and baseball but she tolerates it which I appreciate very much.

That is great! I like the mini glove decorations and the Sandlot ornament but it is really cool your wife is understanding and happy with your collecting. You are missing a vintage baseball ornament though. I got this from Bob F on this board several years ago and despite me not celebrating Christmas, I still have it displayed on my wall year round.

Thanks fellas! An understanding spouse sure makes this collecting so much more enjoyable

Alan that ornament is really neat and looks super delicate, superb condition!! I did buy an old glass baseball ornament(1950s) in the shape of a baseball about 2 years ago. My only usps package i believe that I can say never arrived.

That's simply a gorgeous piece, Alan. Beautifully framed and presented as well. Amazing that it survived so many years, relatively unscathed. Never seen another.... thanks for posting!
