I think the two grades downward adjustment is more of a PSA set registry thing. Not sure that it would apply in the same fashion for other slabs.
So did MBA actually slab your piece and label it as min size? Usually PSA won’t even slab it if it’s min size. I think as a practical matter, there are some issues that are prone to smaller factory cuts. Seems like sometimes vending boxes end up there. Doesn’t mean that it’s not real or has been altered.
