True, but let's hope most New Yorkers are smart enough to consider the lower prices of the secondary market, and that true collectors and baseball history buffs would hop all over Mordecai if given the choice between the two. We can hope, but we'd likely have those hopes mostly dashed. New Yorkers (and other people) not being bothered to do any comparison shopping whatsoever is what made Steiner Steiner. Come to think of it, people not being bothered to do any comparison shopping specifically for Derek Jeter material is the very cornerstone of Steiner's success.
