Need Advice - Worth Getting Autographed?

Hi All - I need some advice on if getting a program autographed is worth the investment of purchasing a players signature.

I have a handful of 1978 opening day weekend programs that featured the Giants vs. Padres. The significance of this program is Ozzie Smith�s MLB debut occurred during this series.

While none of the programs are scored, which means I can�t state for certain if the program is aligned with his debut, I know they are from the series in which he debuted.

If I were to get him to autograph these programs, would collectors actually purchase them for above the cost of obtaining his signature (around $100)? I�ll be keeping one for myself, but just curious what others thought the value may be worth?

For comparison, the same program that was scored from his debut game and signed �MLB Debut� by Ozzie sold on eBay this summer for $500.
