No one named Bob has hit an MLB homer since 2002 before this? Is this true?

There's "Bob"by Witt, but that's not exactly "Bob". I wonder if Robert counts? Can't think of any Robert's, though.

I go by all of those. It seemed like a stretch on Topps' part. Welcome to Topps Now.

Apparently, there has been a decline in the number of athletes named, "Bob."

The link to the MLB Topps® NOW Archive provides a list of other players in the set. I saw Cam Schlittler card and was thinking the back of the card would say something about Cam being a youth boxing champ because of his last name...

Instead it mentioned his flirtation with a perfect game against Tampa Bay.I still scratch my head about Bob Seymour being the first player named "Bob" in over 20 years to hit an HR. Interesting trivia question.

Who could forget Bob Smith's 2002 homer? Absolutely legendary.
