Professor at Amherst, Carleton, Arizona, William and Mary, Maine and George Washington. Worked as a substitute teacher in his home town after retirement. Descended from John Alden of Pilgrim fame. Lived to 101. This is from a group of small photos and RPPC's taken by a competitor/coach in 1912 that I just acquired.
