A HR Derby end to the ASG is better than a tie. Do you remember the tie game ASG in 2002? Boooo.

As for recent rule changes, I enjoy the pitch clock, the end of the shift, limiting relief pitcher changes, and making the bases bigger. The sport I grew to love in the 90s had died. It was boring to watch. But the rule changes revived base stealing, hustling to take extra bases, and reignited action. The Mariners game I went to this spring was enjoyable. The Spokane Indians game that was my father's day gift was enjoyable. My kids enjoyed attending for peanuts, popcorn, and Cracker Jack.
