Weren't we reading about a new Ruth discovery within the last year or less (and wasn't it a N54 member who discovered it at a garage sale)?

A new to the hobby Lou Gehrig is a huge thing. I just hope the person who won the auction is the one who ends up with the card.

That’s a good point - I remember a Gunther beer can being sold for $50 it was worth thousands - some collector(s) Contacted the seller (with offers) and the sale was canceled - this is probably more than 20 years ago I don’t know If shenanigans like that can still happen ,
Also it was a buy it now

Unfortunately it still happens ALL the time with silly rare stuff. Over the years I have had it happen several times. I would bet the seller received multiple offers to not ship it and sell it to them for more.

Wow, shocked that a Gehrig has been found. Auction price definitely is very low.
