Default Another two bite the dust. Now down to 98 on the list.

Thanks to Michael for the Doc Adkins and to Eric for Lefty.

And as always, thanks to everyone on the board for keeping an eye out for Howe’s cards and letting me know when you find one. Never imagined I’d be less than 100 cards away from a complete set. Thank you.

I picked these up. I was wondering about the Indoor baseball. It's supposedly from 1914. It has a spongy feel to it. The pin came with it. Any information about it would certainly be appreciated, especially value. Thanks in advance!!

I was not looking to buy anything last night on Goldin but got caught up in 2 Ticket stubs(yes me)
I figured (for some odd reason) since I have a few Ruth Cards let me match them up with a stub of the same year

Should I continue with the stubs or consider these a 1 off?

So I picked up a
1915 Boston Red Sox complimentary full Ticket for Fenway in Babe Ruth Rookie Season
And
1916 WS Tocket stub for games 1, 2, and 5

Added this week to my W514 set effort. Rough vertical crease but first Roush I’ve seen pop up for auction since I’ve been watching.
Pleased.

Have been looking for the right example of this card for a long time and thrilled to have landed this big bordered boy! Leaves me with one more back to complete my Master Gandil run.

I had to ask on here a few years back for the identification of the two cut-outs I have in my collection, and of course Net54 pulled through. Brian's Daubert is much nicer than my two cards, that's for sure.

I had some stiff competition for E98s at REA but wound up getting 3 I needed, and one slight upgrade.

Default some matchbooks

The more I research these little buggers, the more I'm getting hooked. Fortunate to come into a significant number of these Diamond Baseball and Football matchbooks. color parallels in the 1930's... who would have imagined

Congrats Jonathan - very nice pickup! The 1949 Sealtest sticker cards featuring the same 12 players are tough, but the Lummis Peanut Butter cards are very scarce.

That a great looking Jim Thorpe rookie baseball card with multiple HOFers is available for under $800 is incredible. The things you learn -- and buy -- on Net54...

Finally picked up my first Cracker Jack. Excited to that it’s of Stuffy McInnis. One of the players I’ve slowly been collecting.

Grabbed a fun front back combo Joe Kelley EPDG. I have his American Beauty in the backs line, so figured EPDG would do nicely for the HOFer set.

This Tinker Off Old Mill and I just keep crossing paths. I have owned this exact card at least five times (very distinctive smudge on back). I’ve bought it sold it and worked it into trades over the years. I think I traded it to Jay as part of the Hooker Brown OMSL earlier this year or it might have been part of the trade that helped me get my BL460 back. I kind of consider it to be a good luck card at this point, so grabbed it on auction again last week! I’m looking forward to trading/selling it again!

Enjoy,
Bob

You know you've been in the hobby a long time when certain pieces keep coming back to you like a stray cat that you keep trying to set free. "OK, you've proven your point. I guess this is your home now."

Thanks Val Having attended the Philly Show since 1975 I heard about Lummis cards for at least 20 years before I saw one. Of the less than 50 known examples this one is one of 5 or so that grades vg. And yes I turned over hundreds of sealtest looking for a Lummis. Bought back alot of great memories when I got this in my hands.

Great cards Bob! I was watching both of them. Love that Kelley. Thought the Tinker was a great price.
