This card has been on my radar for years, but I had never actually seen one come up for sale. Paid a premium, but thrilled to finally have this one in the collection.

I love the Cracker Jack Fred Clarke card and have both the '14 and '15. But I take exception to the folks at CJ who did his bio. The final line states, "Joined Pittsburg in 1900." Joined Pittsburg in 1900! That's all. Nothing about being a player/manager, the WS and looking after players like Wagner, Leach, Gibson and crew. The CJ card was issued in 1914 when Clark's storied career had finished and he was still a big name.
Great card but a lousy write-up.

Default Another two bite the dust. Now down to 98 on the list.

Thanks to Michael for the Doc Adkins and to Eric for Lefty.

And as always, thanks to everyone on the board for keeping an eye out for Howe’s cards and letting me know when you find one. Never imagined I’d be less than 100 cards away from a complete set. Thank you.

Grabbed a fun front back combo Joe Kelley EPDG. I have his American Beauty in the backs line, so figured EPDG would do nicely for the HOFer set.

This Tinker Off Old Mill and I just keep crossing paths. I have owned this exact card at least five times (very distinctive smudge on back). I’ve bought it sold it and worked it into trades over the years. I think I traded it to Jay as part of the Hooker Brown OMSL earlier this year or it might have been part of the trade that helped me get my BL460 back. I kind of consider it to be a good luck card at this point, so grabbed it on auction again last week! I’m looking forward to trading/selling it again!

Enjoy,
Bob

You know you've been in the hobby a long time when certain pieces keep coming back to you like a stray cat that you keep trying to set free. "OK, you've proven your point. I guess this is your home now."

Great cards Bob! I was watching both of them. Love that Kelley. Thought the Tinker was a great price.

I picked these up. I was wondering about the Indoor baseball. It's supposedly from 1914. It has a spongy feel to it. The pin came with it. Any information about it would certainly be appreciated, especially value. Thanks in advance!!

I was not looking to buy anything last night on Goldin but got caught up in 2 Ticket stubs(yes me)
I figured (for some odd reason) since I have a few Ruth Cards let me match them up with a stub of the same year

Should I continue with the stubs or consider these a 1 off?

So I picked up a
1915 Boston Red Sox complimentary full Ticket for Fenway in Babe Ruth Rookie Season
And
1916 WS Tocket stub for games 1, 2, and 5
