In general, food issues are printed in large quantities and are are of relatively low value. There are a few exceptions (like Larkin's 1987 Kahn's), but most are not as desirable as the mainstream cards. But for a player collector like myself, eventually you start running out of mainstream cards to collect, so snatching up food issue and other "oddball" cards becomes necessary.
