Matty39 has one of the rooms I'd most like to visit if I had the chance. Looks great.
None of my recent pickups can quite compare. They are all uncommon to rare variations, and I'm glad to get them even though two have some damage. The 49ers is, for some reason, much, much, much more common in orange than in the actual 49ers color of red. I missed on this (simply forgot to bid) a few years ago and have been haunted by the memory, so am glad to get it now. The Astros is the 1969 cloth version, which we've discussed on here before. This is the first time I have seen one for sale. And the Houston Colt's was the right price (after I got the seller to remove the ebay generated default $117 shipping price for pennants). I will replace the spine on this one (with a vintage Trench spine) so it displays better on my wall. I know there are mixed views on doing that, but it's just for me and I think it's just too much bug damage to look at. Last edited by bocca001; 03-02-2025 at 09:22 AM. |
